E-mail: 		Just spend 2 nights camping at this place and wanted to thank the staff for looking after us.
Really nice place to camp right on the river, lovely clean toilets & shower and the food was fab.
Cooked breakfast really set us up for a day in the canoe.
Will be back hopefully next year.

Dave, Jacqui and all the staff were very friendly and helpful , the room was very clean and spacious and the food was very good of coarse the beer went down well too. I Wouldn't hesitate in recommending The White Lion, it was a pleasure to stay there and in such beautiful surroundings. Thanks again to all the staff. I hope to be back next year.

Dave and Jacqui and the staff including Bailey made us feel very welcome as did the customers.The beer was great, the food was excellent and the views were out of this world and so were the ghosts.
Had a lovely time and look forward to coming back soon.

E-mail: KClark74@hotmail.co.uk		 Me and my boyfriend stayed at the White Lion for one night, away from the kids. What a wonderful location right on the river and really friendly staff. Lovely,clean,comfortable rooms with plenty of space. While we did not choose to bring ours kids there was a family there with a young child who were as welcomed as we were. The river is briming with all manner of wildlife and there a many footpaths along the river in all directions. Will be back definatley be back soon.

E-mail: 		Hi just celebrated my birthday at the White Lion, it was a great evening the food was great the welcome and service even better. The atmoshere was extremely friendly the locals are obviously regular which always indicates its a good place to go.
Certainly will return, had not realised there was such a good place so close to home.

E-mail: 		I regularly eat and drink at the White Lion with my family. This includes my six and seven year old daughters. Friendly atmosphere, good food and great setting. In summer it is just fantastic to sit outside on the banks of the River Wye. Canoes regularly stop and it is a very friendly, happy atmosphere for thew whole family. Plenty of space for the kids.

In winter we sit inside. A friendly atmosphere where all the locals will have a chat. Children most welcome. Really a nice place to take the family.

The welcome was warm ,food excellent, service just right (knowledgeable and not pushy)and the beers super.All the staff were happy to suggest places to visit and offering directions to find them. When we had to leave we all felt regret because we had been made so "at home".Another visit is very likely.

Food was excellent (all home made) and the service was first rate.
Even my little boy (2) ate all his dinner which is rare.
